Zen thought of the day:
“Our final experience, like our first, is conjectural. We move between two darknesses.”
– E. M. Forster

Conjecture is how we live. We form all our opinions and thoughts on what we perceive is factual reality, but everything is warped and transmuted by our individual lens. We never know the whole truth, the actual reality. We can accept things for what we perceive them to be, but we have to be aware that we are always missing something and accept that as part of the reality. Nothing is complete. We never see the whole picture, the multidimensionality of our existence, and how it affects every nuanced moment in our lives. And that is why our first experience to our last experience are filtered through the lens of our perception and we always miss and misinterpret something. We are moving in darkness, to darkness, and from darkness. It is up to us to find the light of awareness and acceptance. Awareness and consciousness are the light.
