Ode to Sleepytime
Not a body in sight
To wish me sleep tight,
Yet easy will I go to sleep to dream
Within the embrace of this lovely thing.
The place I long for when away,
To come home to after hard days.
The hug that fits me perfectly
And holds me softly, tenderly.
My soul is weary, let me rest
In the place that I deem best,
The spot I lay my pretty head,
My one true love, my great big bed.
